Asphalt Shingle Roofing:

Asphalt shingle roofs typically last 15 to 25 years.  There are numerous things that can adversely effect an asphalt shingle roof.  Things like workmanship, type of fasteners, underlayment, slope of roof, and quality of the roofing material can effect the quality of the asphalt shingle roof.  Shingle roofs are prone to granule loss, wind and hail damage.  It's also important to have proper ventilation for your shingle roof.  As a Phoenix Roofing Contractor we can properly inspect, repair and/or replace your asphalt shingle roof.

Concrete Tile Roofing:

Concrete tile roofs should last up to 40 years or more.  However, we typically see problems with concrete tile roofs including water leaks much sooner due to poor workmanship and lack of maintenance.   In fact, it's not uncommon to see  concrete tile roofs being torn off to have new underlayment installed after 10 to 25 years.  Issues such as cracked tiles, broken mortar packs, and poorly installed flashings at head walls, chimneys, valleys, vents, and exhaust pipes are leading areas that can cause premature tile roofing failure.  It's important to have your tile roof properly inspected by a Licensed Roofing Contractor.

Foam Roofing:

Foam roofing should be installed with a minimum thickness of 1 inch and have proper pitch and swales to help eliminate water ponding.  All flashings and penetrations should also be properly sealed.  Most importantly, Foam roofing must have a good quality roof coating applied to the foam to create a water proof barrier to keep the water out and keep the sun from deteriorating the foam.  Unfortunately, Foam roofing can easily be damaged and requires routine maintenance and repairs.  Phoenix Roofing and Remodeling has the experience and knowledge to help you with all of your foam roofing repairs.

Low Slope Roofing:

Low Slope roofing is frequently used on flat roofs and is the norm for residential patio roofs and many commercial properties. The most important thing required for a quality installation is a solid base in which to apply and install the roofing membrane.  With proper installation,  tight seams and proper flashings a modified bitumen roof will typically last 15-20 years.   Our Phoenix Roofing Company can repair and/or install low slope roofing materials for all of your low slope roofing needs.
